Lactation

A partner in your breastfeeding journey.

At this time, I provide both virtual and in-person pre/postnatal lactation education and infant feeding support.

I advise and can assist with proper latch and positioning and guided meditation to help increase relaxation and milk flow. I also enjoy educating families about how their birthing choices and how birth experiences can affect their breastfeeding relationship.

How can I help? This is just a shortlist of my areas of expertise:

  • pre/post feed weigh-ins for families to assess milk transfer to ease supply concerns

  • help identify and reach personal breastfeeding goals

  • breastfeeding positions and assessment of latch

  • pumping tips and tricks

  • manual expression of breastmilk

  • suggestions for skin-to-skin, co-sleeping, tandem nursing, and nursing through pregnancy

  • guidance for relief with mastitis, engorgement, plugged ducts, pain/discomfort, etc.

  • baby and child-led weaning

  • full-term breastfeeding
