Infant Massage
Create a lasting bond with your little one.
During group or individual sessions, we cover the whole body for baby, and address teething pains, bonding, skin-to-skin, digestive issues, premature & special needs babies, colic/gas, birth injury/trauma, facial massage to assist with breastfeeding & latch issues, etc. I prefer to teach each family the full 5 class series, so families will learn how to massage all of baby's body parts and will feel confident and comfortable to continue at home. The IAIM textbook & organic, cold-pressed infant massage oil are provided for each client who signs up.
GROUP CLASSES: Please contact me for inquiries regarding upcoming group class offerings.
PRIVATE CLASSES: I am currently accepting clients for private infant massage classes. Reach out with questions about pricing and availability in order to coordinate a one-on-one 5-week series.
Good to know…
Julie is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CEIM) through the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM)
Julie offers both private & group infant massage courses to families.
Infant massage courses typically consist of five, 75–minute sessions
What is the IAIM program?
Unlike many other infant massage organizations, IAIM instructors around the world only teach parents and caregivers to massage their own baby and instructors always teach on a massage doll.
This unique yet powerful aspect of IAIM’s program provides parents and caregivers a safe and nurturing space to bond and learn about their own baby.
Parents who take an infant massage class with Julie learn much more than just the mechanics of a massage routine. The program involves many different styles of touch, movement, interaction and communication.
Both research and anecdotal evidence from families have shown that there are many ways that babies and families may benefit from infant massage.
